Alian Arco Design Philosophy
Over the past 5 years Alian Arco has been involved in a number of projects ranging from audio design, through to web design over the last year. At this point in time we are indeed in a change of direction on what design is and holds for the future of mankind. We have recently started up a discussion on the 2012 phenomenon in relation to design and the outcome of what we believe will have on the design field (please see Alian Arco blog).
Here at Alian Arco we feel that it is time to start taking a different approach to design that to date has not been seen in the design world, as a start we no longer use software programs such as Adobe photoshop etc, not that these are not good programs but because we feel it is time to start a change for what seems to be a direction that never turns to go down/try a different track.
In the world today we are starting to see a big change in peoples consciousness over many different aspects for life and how one applies it, at Alian Arco we believe that one needs to change with this movement as in the past those who do not change got left behind, so we started with the basics in software, although many will see this as being a change in the wrong direction we believe it is not. Due to the amount of change in the money market alone we are seeing/finding new ways to be happy without the need to consume the amount of products we have done in the past. Although you may think that this is not what a design team wants to hear, as consumer products give designers a living, the truth is that at universality we are taught the complete opposite. Other designers may see this differently but we are taught to be aware of resources, sustainability, and in general making the best possible products to last a lot longer than the ones currently available right now. The only reason that this is not, is because of money making profit that we see around us.
Now and in the future Alian Arco will continue to change and be at the for front, for the movement currently taking place around the world within people. We are currently working towards a standard in open-source design and sustainable approach to the current system, this is a work in progress and may take a little time to be sorted into a working model. We at Alian Arco have let go of fear to let the world grow, too many people live in fear, most do not recognise fear in their daily lives, so because of this debilitating control we never move from our comfort zones completely. Recognise your fear embrace and change something in the world today, if you believe you have the skills or resources to help this us with this model taking shape then please do not hesitate to contact us, all help is welcome.
